“O.F.F. #2” Exclusively Live on Website!
Our new Holiday Video O.F.F. #2 “SINGING PRAYER” (1989) is live exclusively on our website: www.myreincarnationfilm.com. I remember shooting this scene well: Each week I followed Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and his wife, Rosa, on their trip to Naples from their apartment in Formia so Rinpoche could teach at the University. Rinpoche and Rosa stayed at Bruno Irmici’s house when in Naples. At the end of the day, he’d come back rather tired from all the hard work at the University. Nevertheless, invariably students would start to arrive and gather to talk to him or just hang out in his presence. There was always a lot of laughter and joy because of Rinpoche’s way of teaching through play and humor. Filming Rinpoche back then was like being in the center of the world. Everyone felt so special to have such close and ordinary contact with such a magical person. People often stayed till late in the evening. Then the next day it would start all over again.
I am so happy that now others can enjoy this moment with Chögyal Namkhai Norbu through this little video gem.

Yes, I agree. I look at each students face and see such tenderness between them and Rinpoche. I see such force and power in Rinpoche to transmit a whole tradition from one world to another. It amazes me. He taught one person at a time these prayers and songs! Such a sweet moment between the three of them.
